To Pass NEBOSH IGC you need to perform well during the exam. You only have two hours and your performance will be related to two key factors

  • The amount that you can remember about the elements you have studied and
  • Your success in applying that knowledge to an exam situation.
The IGC 1 and IGC 2 exam consists of two sections.
  • Section 1 contains one question which is likely to have a number of sub parts. This question is worth 20 Marks
  • Section 2 contain ten questions with each question being worth 8 Marks.

REMEMBER – There is no choice of questions in the exam. All question are compulsory.

NEBOSH recommends you spend About half an hour in Section 1 About one and a half hours on Section 2.

Exam Technique

  • Read the question carefully. Minimum 2 to 3 times.
  • Monitor the time.
  • Consider the marks available. For each mark to be awarded the examiner will expect a piece of information to award the mark against.
