Mr.Prakesh shah from Mumbai is turning his career around getting Nebosh IGC qualification with GWG India

Prakesh Shah who was made redundant for the first time in 18 years from a multi national shipping company, He was working as a second engineer in the supply vessel and recognised the demand for NEBOSH qualifications. As a engineer in his previous role he had been responsible for a lot of health & safety issues and wanted to use his experience in this area & gain the NEBOSH Certificate that is required by all employers as a foundation.

He plans to transfer his skills into another sector less damaged by the economic climate, acknowledging that there are still jobs available in health & safety. He chosen GWG as the training provider for the NEBOSH Certificate. He attended the 2 week course at our Chennai -India centre. He felt the course was “well run, condensed and a very comprehensive range of subjects covered” He plans to continue his studies and take the NEBOSH Diploma in 2013 and secure his career plans to “progress into a safety management position or similar quality assurance role within a large organisation.”
