Advance Diploma in Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental Management. 

ADOHSEM: (Advance Diploma in Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental Management) is a safety program initiated by the government of India that deals with the security concerns encountered in the industrial sector. The training content and curriculum is exclusively designed to make sure that it can be followed and understood everywhere and among all levels of staff.  ADOHSEM recognizes that every individual is warranted to work in a safe and secure environment and at the same time, it is the moral duty of every individual that none of his actions are creating disruption and discrepancies for rest of the workforce.

What are the objectives of ADOHSEM

ADOHSEM aims to enhance the skills, aptitude and technical knowledge of the candidates with the course content that is tailored according to the industry-specific requirements. Staff of an organization is educated in respect to the industrial health, work hygiene and accidental prevention techniques. Creating awareness when it comes to safety audits and health and safety management is critical and that is what ADOHSEM aims to deliver. For ensuring safe occupational environment, knowledge on risk assessment and management procedures is necessary and ADOHSEM intends to make sure that the candidates are proficient in all risk assessment and safety management modules.

Am I eligible for undertaking ADOHSEM course?

You need to be a certificate holder in any of these four courses- NEBOSH/IOSH MS/OSHA along with a minimum of two years experience in Safety Practical experience in a supervisory capacity.

How would I be assessed?

You need to give five theory papers only & Practical assessments:

Paper 1: INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT FOR HEALTH AND SAFETY – I

Paper 2: INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT FOR HEALTH AND SAFETY – II

Paper 3: INTERNATIONAL WORKPLACE SAFETY – I

Paper 4: INTERNATIONAL WORKPLACE SAFETY – II

Paper 5: ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT

You also need to submit a project on Industrial Safety before theory examination along with a Report. These have to be submitted to the Department.

What are the durations of the exams?

Paper I & Paper 2 – 2 hrs written exam – 10 questions (no choice) – Marks 100

Paper 3 & Paper 4 – 2 hrs written exam – 10 questions (no choice) – Marks 100

Paper 5 – 1 hrs written exam – 8 questions (no choice) – Marks 100

Paper 6 –Practical assessment – Marks 100

What is the course material?

You can buy the International standard that is published by Green World Group. This publication is promoted by the government of India.

What are the certifications I will get after completing the tests and when do I get them?

Successful candidates will get the certificate within 90 days (from result announcement date). Certificate & Mark list will be issued from Central Board of Examination & National Development agency, Promoted by Government of India
