Time: 12: 15 to 13: 00
Topic: Cleaner Production Technology Concepts and Practice in Industries for a Greener and Safer Working Environment
Seminar Abstract:
With current trends in population growth and industrialization, wastes and pollutants are released faster than the earth can absorb them, and natural resources are consumed faster than it can be restored. If sustainable development is to be achieved, production processes, products and services have to be reoriented towards new patterns in order to alleviate environmental stress and bring better industrial productivity. It is in this perspective; a new concept – Cleaner Production Technology was projected. It is the continuous application of an integrated, preventive strategy to processes, products and services to increase efficiency and reduce risks to humans and the environment. Hence it is a pro-active and integrated solution to pollution problems by eliminating or reducing pollutants at the source during the course of production processes.
Our Training Development Manager Mr.Sivakumar B.E., M.Tech (Energy and Environmental Engineering), LA-EMS take the seminar for above Topics.
