Exam Assessment & Verification of OTHM Level 6 Diploma
The entire Qualification units are internally assessed by the center and externally verified by OTHM. To receive the Qualification, the student must achieve all the specified learning outcomes (criterion-referenced). To achieve a ‘Pass’ for a unit, learners must provide evidence demonstrating that they have fulfilled all the learning outcomes of that particular unit and meet the standards specified by assessment criteria.
The assessor judges that the learners have successfully fulfilled the assessment criteria. The assessor must maintain a record of how the judgment of the learners’ achievement was reached. OTHM-approved centers are responsible for assessing and managing learners who still need to achieve a Pass for the Qualification after completing the assessment.
Result & Certification
Once all the Units are completed and verified by the Internal Assessor the same would be submitted to OTHM for external verification. For external validation, the time period would be 45 UK working days. From the date of official result notification from OTHM the certificate would be dispatched to the approved center in 20 – 30 UK working days.
All students would be notified officially by OTHM and training centre about their results.
